Dr. Ram Tarneja joined Jolly Board Limited as an independent non-executive Director in 1979 and has been the non executive Chairman since 1985. Education: BA (Hons.) MA(Delhi), M.A. (Virginia)and Ph.D. (Cornell University) Director, Graduate Dept. of Business Administration, Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, U.S.A. Chairman, PAMO (Pan Asian Management Organization), Nissin ABC Logistics Private Ltd. President, IIHMR (Indian Institute of Health Management Research).

Honorary President, Asian Association of Management Organizations. Retired as Managing Director, Bennett, Coleman & Company Ltd (The Times of India Publications) in 1991 and continues as a member on their Board. Member of various Committees of several professional organizations. Member, Board of Directors on 15 public companies.

Past President of All India Management Association, Indian Newspaper Society, Employers Federation of India, Indian Merchants' Chamber and Indian Institute of Personnel Management. Past Chairman of Audit Bureau of Circulations, United News of India.

Dr. Tarneja is an active leader in the professional management and corporate governance movements of Asia.
Mr. Arvind Jolly - Managing Director
Mr. Arvind Jolly has over 40 years experience as entrepreneur, industrialist and exporter, heading the Jolly Group of Companies, India's largest fibreboard manufacturers.

The group has recently diversified into Realty business and IT Park Development. Education: B.Sc(Hons) Elphinstone College, Institute of Science On the Board of Trustees of the Port of Mumbai for 2006-2008 representing "Other Interests" Past President of The Rotary Club of Bombay 1994-1995, Past President of the Indian Merchants' Chamber (IMC) 2001-2002.

Founder of the IMC's Young Entrepreneurs' Wing. Presently active Managing Committee Member of ASSOCHAM. Past President of the All India Fibreboard Manufacturers' Association.

Past Vice President of the Indian Institute of Interior Designers.

Mrs. Rashmi Jolly - Executive Director
Mrs. Rashmi Jolly has over 30 years experience overseeing the public relations and export activities of the company.


Education: B.A.(Hons) English. Lady Shriram College, (Delhi University) Masters Level (Post graduate) Asian Arts Diploma -British Museum, London. A Journalism Course -New York-USA.

In New Delhi, upto 1973 worked as a Research Assistant/Librarian-cum Editor of the Ford Foundation Bulletin called 'Foghorn' and later with the World Bank.

Past President of the Ladies Wing of the Indian Merchants' Chamber 2001-2002.

Art, Culture and Travel writer. Her columns are published in the Times of India and other leading publications.

Founder member of the G. R. Jolly Trust.

Avid collector of Contemporary Indian Art for 30 years and known to encourage and promote young, upcoming artists.

Mr. Arjun Jolly - Whole Time Director
Mr. Arjun Jolly holds a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from Tufts University, Boston, USA and an M.Sc. in Computer Systems from City University, London, U.K.


He has working experience with Raft International, a British Software Company. He has also about 10 years of working experience with the Company.

Mr. Arjun Jolly, aged 34 years joined the Company in September 2000 as Chief Information Officer and was subsequently promoted to Chief Executive Officer.

Considering his contribution in exports, expansion and planning activities, the Board of Directors of the Company appointed Mr. Arjun Jolly as an Additional Director (Whole-Time).

Mr. P K. Dasgupta - Whole Time Works Director
Mr. P K. Dasgupta joined Jolly Board Ltd. in 1999 as Whole Time Works Director. Education: B.Sc. with 1st Class Honours in Mechanical Engineering, M.Tech in Production Science &Technology- IIT Kharagpur.

Three decades of experience in various facets of industrial and factory management with well reputed manufacturing companies in India who are leaders in their own fields.

Expert in starting up green field projects.
Mr. Jimmy Pochkhanawalla - Director
Mr. Jimmy Pochkhanawalla joined Jolly Board Ltd. in 1998 as an independent non -executive Director. ROTARY FOUNDATION SCHOLAR AT COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY; NEW YORK, U.S.A.
B.A. (Hons.), LL.B., Bombay University LL.M. Columbia University, New York, U.S.A.

Sometime Professor of Law, Bombay University, LL.M. degree course. Designated as Senior Advocate in 1991 within 10 years of active practice at the Bar. One of the youngest counsel to be so designated by the Indian Superior Judiciary. Served as senior panel counsel at the Bombay High Court, both for the Government of India as well as for the State of Maharashtra Involved as Counsel in several major litigations before the Supreme Court of India and various High Courts in India.

Dr. Kewal K. Nohria joined Jolly Board Ltd. as as independent non-executive Director in 2005.

During the last 50 years, he has been associated with the Electrical Industry and has held senior positions with number of Organisations.

Education: Graduated in Electrical Engineering from Benares Hindu University.

Pursued further studies in Management at Manchester Technical College, UK.

Awarded D.Litt. (Honaris Causa) from Benares University.

Retired as Chairman & Managing Director of Crompton Greaves Limited.
